We are Artevelde and we are a prison country that likes to play games. Our larger island of the two is one giant prison where our inhabitants live. On the smaller island live the rich and powerful men and women who play the prison game.

At Artevelde, we live by the saying “carpe diem” because you never know what the next day of your life will bring. Or if there even will be a next day. You can even get out of the prison if the right people of the smaller island want to invest in you. So there is always hope for our inhabitants.

Like in every prison, our prison maintains also some rules, made by the richest people, who control the whole prison camp. It comes down to just one main idea: survival of the fittest. If these rules are not being followed, you as a prisoner/inhabitant will never get the opportunity to even get out of the prison so the rules need to be followed.

In our prison is violence always near, whether it is for a cigarette or for some tobacco. This violence can’t be stopped but it can be controlled in some way by rules.

Because of the nature of the country with the prison and the investors, it’s important to form bonds with the right people. If a fight breaks out, you should better be on the winning side. And with the right people around you, the prison life can even be quite good.
